This week pop star Britney Spears surprised everyone with a new look: she shaved her head. Moments after she did it in Esther’s Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, California, Britney said in tears: “My mom is going to freak”. Esther Tognozzi, owner of the salon, explained that she tried to convince the singer not to choose such a radical do, but she wasn’t successful
According to Tognozzi, Britney stopped by the salon with her two bodyguards and said that she wanted to buzz her hair off. Although the hairdresser tried to talk the singer out of shaving her head, Spears was determined to do it and she finally decided to do it herself.
Tognozzi also said that Britney had no expression while cutting her hair but smiled later for the photographers that caught sight of her new look. Although Britney wasn’t charged for the buzz cut, now the salon offers the Brit-Buzz Special for $200. Before the pop singer left using the back door, Tognozzi asked her if the buzz cut represented a new beginning, to which Spears answered: “Something like that”. |
